Terms of Service

CVFriend finds relevant jobs, analyses how well you fit them, and generates a tailored CV and cover letter in your own voice, with an ATS score and suggested improvements. It's an assistant — you stay in control of what you send.

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Give us accurate information, and don't share your account with others. You must be at least 16 to use the service.

• You own everything you put in and everything the service generates for you. You grant us only the licence needed to process it and provide the service — we never sell or share it, and we don't use it to train AI models.
• The service tailors, orders, and frames your real experience — it does not invent credentials. You are responsible for the truth of what's in your profile, and for reviewing every document before you send it.

Don't use the service to:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or submit content that isn't yours to use;
• resell, redistribute, or build a competing product from our output or systems;
• attack, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or evade rate limits and usage metering.

• Paid plans include a set number of applications each period — one application is a tailored CV plus cover letter. You always see how many you have left before you run one. See pricing.
• Paid plans renew automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account and keep access through the period you've already paid for.
• Applications you've already generated aren't refundable, since the AI cost is real and irreversible. If something goes wrong on our side, contact us and we'll make it right.
• We may change prices with notice; changes never affect a period you've already paid for.

We give you a strong, ATS-aware application — but we can't guarantee interviews or a job, and the ATS score is an estimate, not a promise about any specific employer's system. The service is provided on a reasonable-effort basis, "as is," without an uptime guarantee on the free tier.

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or abuses the service. On deletion we erase your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

To the extent the law allows, CVFriend isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Swedish or EU law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If we change them materially, we'll update the effective date and let you know in the app or by email. Questions: support@cvfriend.com.
